Vertical Mock Sash
Sliding windows, also commonly referred to as sliding sash windows, are a more traditional style of window, perfect for a period property. While in the past sliding sash windows were only made out of timber, modern manufacturing techniques allow them to also be made out of uPVC, allowing them to offer the same benefits that our casement window range have while still retaining the appearance and functionality of a vertically opening window.
uPVC Mock Sash Sliding Windows: Colour Options
Our sliding windows can also be customised with a full range of colours, finishes, handles, and glass features, allowing you to tailor your window to exactly match your property. Often a uPVC sliding sash window in a woodgrain finish is a perfect option to replace an old, draughty, timber sliding sash window, while retaining the period aesthetic of your property.
If you are looking to have the appearance of a sash window, but have the window open out normally as a casement window, we are also able to offer a ‘mock’ sash horn system, designed to give a window’s exterior the look of a vertical sliding sash.
